Standard type regulator with a relief valve preventing abnormal output pressure increases by the valve stem and diaphragm separating when the output pressure exceeds the set pressure, allowing air pressure to vent to the atmosphere through the relief valve. The diaphragm provides stable air pressure output by opening and closing the valve system based on the force (output pressure) that the pressure regulating spring strikes the bottom of the diaphragm. Lastly, the valve system only allows the required amount to pass from input to output when there is an imbalance between the diaphragm and pressure-regulating spring.
